YAKITORI GUY

I was hired onto this project to do logo and merch design for private chef & Youtuber, Yakitori Guy. He requested for the Japanese characters for "Yaki/焼" (meaning grilled) and "Tori/鳥" (meaning chicken) to be infused into the design. He wanted the final design to be minimal and sleek, but also not too serious. We decided to leave an element of playfulness by making the Tori (chicken) character slightly resemble the silhouette of a chicken.
