SHORT TALES, LONG ROOTS
Short Tales, Long Roots is a brief compilation of poetry and illustration that brings together creatures in Chinese and Japanese mythology through shared written language and story. Each tale explores a different facet of East Asian culture and history, and hints at the possibility that these mythical beings continue to live among us today. This book is a collaboration between Eda Yu (writer) and Maya Fuji (illustrator), and the entire book has been printed by risograph. Below are a few examples of pages from this collection.
